ELTRA Ltd. developed new composite insulators, suitable for railways and distributive energetics. These insulators are characterized with high mechanical strength in tension, with braking force close to 80 kN for all modifications of insulators KI 106 and KI 102. Braking mechanical force in combined stress of insulators KI 106 eye - tube, tube - tube is 35 kN. Insulators are dedicated for environment PD4. Furthermore are our insulators compared to common insulators mechanicaly and electricaly failure free, they have smaller diameter and light weight. This increases elasticity of traction line and eliminates the hard places of traction line.

Shown insulators consist of glasfiber core, anticorrosive light metal terminators and silicone. Insulators were designed to fulfil all requirements of alle new technical standards.
